King Charles joins forces with Mumford & Sons for soaring folk epic “The Brightest Lights”

Great scott! We’ve got a wonderful way for you to start the morning. HotW favorite King Charles and everyone’s favorite Mumford and Sons have teamed up on a song (which seems only fitting as they have toured together). “The Brightest Lights” takes the best of both Charles and Mumford and blends them into a perfectly lovely, bright tune. King Charles’ vocals take the lead for the verses, using his signature quick paced lyrical rhythm. But the instrumental is more Mumford – soaring folk melodies (wait… could that be, even… a bagpipe?!). The group chorus then combines the two similar styles and brings them into one beautiful, folktastic singalong.

The two bands have put together a nice tour video to accompany the song – shot to look like a home video, it gives you a unique perspective on touring. This video feels like a peak into the lives of the bands – food, soccer,fans,  and guitars abound. It’s a more intimate tour video which perfectly matches the mood of the song.
