Girl Crisis goes almost acoustic in spine tingling cover of Ace of Base’s classic “The Sign”

90’s throwback!!! Girl Crisis, a cover song collective of pretty great lady voices from Chairlift, Au Revoir Simone, and Class Actress, put out an awesome cover today of Ace of Base‘s big hit “The Sign”. With just the slightest tinkling of music in the background and a whole lot of harmonizing vocals in the foreground, this cover really takes a great new spin on the song. It’s almost chilling to hear these ladies voices match up, and they’ve slowed the tempo down a bit to match this slightly eery style. VERY nice. Add to that the Super 8 cinematography, and really, what more could you ask for?
